Familiarization Trips

The New Smyrna Beach Area Visitors Bureau receives domestic and international tour operators, airline agents, AAA, meeting planner and corporate executives for buyer education trips (BETs), travel agents to our area to educate and showcase our destination for our top leisure feeder markets. To put these on, we will need rooms, meals and activities on a complimentary basis/in-kind donation*.

What do you get? A chance to be written up in domestic and/or international publications, and the opportunity to have travel agents stay and explore our area and sell your property.

* An email with an in-kind form will be sent to properties of interest for the visiting FAM. Should no-one respond, one last attempt is made and anyone that can host via in-kind will be chosen. Upon certain circumstances, the media rate will be used. If you wish to be removed from this list please let us know.
